What we do — and don't do
Fleetable bundles self-employed professionals looking for the same car and negotiates a better price on behalf of that group with an authorized dealer. We act as intermediary: you buy and sign directly with the dealer.
Fleetable is not a party to your purchase agreement. The purchase, delivery, warranty and liability for the car are between you and the authorized dealer.
Participation is free for the self-employed professional. Our fee comes from the dealer and is calculated on the savings achieved.
What we do and don't promise
We do our best to negotiate the best possible price for each group. This is a best-efforts obligation, not a guaranteed result: we do not guarantee any particular discount, any particular delivery time, or that a group will actually come together or that a dealer will accept our proposal.
Signing up is non-binding. You only enter into a commitment once you personally accept the concrete terms of a deal.
Information on our platform
Figures relating to vehicles — including benefit-in-kind, registration tax, VAT deductibility and CO₂ contribution — are indicative. They are based on the regulations known at the time and on third-party data, and do not constitute tax, legal or financial advice. Tax rules change, and their correct application depends on your personal situation. Verify any figures that are decisive for your decision with your accountant or the dealer before signing.
Liability and applicable law
Our liability is limited to the fee we received for the relevant intermediation. We are not liable for indirect damages, including lost profit or missed savings. This limitation does not apply in case of intent or fraud on our part, nor in cases where the law prohibits such a limitation.
Belgian law applies. Disputes will be brought before the courts of the judicial district of Antwerp, Antwerp division.
Your data
Fleetable BV is the data controller. Questions about your data: info@fleetable.be.
We collect your name, email address and phone number, your status as a self-employed professional and, where applicable, your company number, and your brand, model and timing preferences. In addition, our hosting and security providers automatically keep technical logs, including your IP address, to run and secure the site.
We use this data to sign you up, bundle you with others and negotiate on behalf of the group (performance of the contract), to keep you informed about ongoing groups (legitimate interest), for our newsletter (your consent) and for our accounting (legal obligation).
Towards dealers, we initially only share the group's aggregated demand — for example "X self-employed professionals are looking for model Y". Your personal contact details are only passed to a dealer once you decide to move forward with a concrete deal. We also work with external providers for hosting, email and customer management, who act only on our instructions and under a data processing agreement. Some of them process data outside the EEA; in those cases, the European Commission's standard contractual clauses apply. We never sell your data.
We retain your data for as long as you use the platform, and for a further 24 months afterwards, unless a statutory retention period is longer.
You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, port and object, and you can withdraw your consent to marketing at any time via info@fleetable.be. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
Cookies and statistics
We do not place tracking or marketing cookies. The only cookies on this site are strictly necessary to make it work and keep it secure — no consent is required for those, so you won't see a cookie banner from us.
For our visitor statistics we use Counter.dev, an open-source analytics tool that does not place cookies, does not retain IP addresses and does not recognize individual visitors. Should that ever change, we will update this page and ask for your consent beforehand.
On the questionnaire, we also anonymously track how far you got through the questionnaire, so we can see where people drop off and improve the questionnaire. This happens via a temporary, random code per browser tab, not via a cookie, and is in no way linked to your name, email address or other personal data.
